A :Check-in begins at 4:00 PM on the day of your arrival. Q: Can I store my luggage at the hotel before check-in or after check-out?

A :If you arrive before the standard check-in time, we can store your luggage for free starting from 9:00 AM. On the day of your check-out, we can hold your bags until 9:30 PM.If you need to store your luggage before your check-in date or after your check-out date, there will be a fee of NT$100 per day. Please inform a member of our staff in advance.If you plan to stay with us again a few days after you check out, we can store your luggage for free during your time away.

Q: What is the latest time I can check out?

A :The housekeeping inspection time is 11:00 am. Please check out before this time.If you need to check out later, please contact the housekeeper in advance and complete the payment of the late check-out fee. You can delay your check-out by one hour until 12 noon.You can also check out from 8:00 AM or even earlier. Please place your worn slippers in the recycling basket and remember to take your personal belongings and luggage with you.

A :No, you can come and go from our hotel late at night!The main entrance is locked from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM. You can still enter and exit during this period using the code we provide, but please keep your voice down when you return to the dormitory late at night to avoid disturbing other guests. Q: Are there any limited opening hours for the bathhouse? Are shampoo, shower gel, and hair dryers provided?

A :The shared bathrooms are open 24 hours a day. We provide shampoo, body wash, and hair dryers for free.Our hot water is natural hot spring water. If the water runs cold at first, it's because the water in the pipes has cooled down. During off-peak hours, you might need to wait 5-10 minutes for the hot water to come through. Please be patient, as the hot spring water will flow once the cool water has been flushed out.Also, we kindly ask that you avoid showering or using the hair dryer late at night to avoid disturbing other guests. late at night to avoid disturbing other guests.

Q: Are towels, toothbrushes, and other toiletries provided?

A :The backpacker room does not provide towels, bath towels, or toothbrush sets. Please prepare your own. You can rent towels or purchase toothbrushes from the housekeeper if needed.Our private rooms include two large towels and Eye Candle co-branded toiletries. However, please note that starting July 1, 2024, our hotel will comply with government regulations by no longer providing personal hygiene products (including toothbrushes and toothpaste). Please bring your own when you check in. If you need a toothbrush, you can purchase one from the staff.

A : To maintain a clean environment and avoid disturbing other guests, food and drinks are not allowed in the backpacker rooms. You can finish your food and drinks in the social lounge on the first floor. If you are staying in a private room, there is no such restriction.

A :A complimentary breakfast is provided every morning of your stay, which you can enjoy in our dining area from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.Additionally, our shared kitchen is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and you are welcome to cook and eat there. We kindly ask that you wash your dishes after use to keep them ready for the next guest.

Q: When can I use the public hot springs? What are the rules for use?

A :The public hot spring pool on the top floor is open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and is free for all guests.From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, it's reserved for women only. From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, it's a mixed-gender time. The pool is closed during all other hours for cleaning.Please remember to wear a swimsuit when using the pool and be mindful of your own health and safety.

A :By Car:Take National Freeway 5 and exit at the Toucheng Interchange. Turn left and head straight towards Jiaoxi. You can follow the signs for Jiaoxi Train Station. We are located just a 1-minute walk from the train station.By Bus:You can take a Kamalan Bus from Taipei Bus Station or a Capital Bus from Taipei City Hall Bus Station to Jiaoxi Bus Station. From there, you can either take the shuttle bus route 112 (which runs about every 15 minutes) to Jiaoxi Train Station (about a 3-minute ride) or walk to Tomato Hostel (about a 10-minute walk).By Train:Take the train to Jiaoxi Train Station. When you exit the station, you will see us on your right!From the Airport to Tomato Hostel:From the bus stops at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, take the Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport Route 1661 "Taoyuan Airport - Luodong" (which runs approximately every half hour during peak times). Get off at Jiaoxi Bus Station, then you can either transfer to the shuttle bus route 112 (about every 15 minutes) to Jiaoxi Train Station (about a 3-minute ride) or walk to Tomato Hostel (about a 10-minute walk).
